Concept build. This is an example of what we’d build for a store like yours, not a client project.
Catalog
A catalog cleanup sprint
Thin descriptions, half-filled metafields and inconsistent titles hold back search and filters. This sprint fixes the whole catalog in bulk, with a person reviewing every change.
- Descriptions, SEO titles and metafields written in your brand voice
- Changes reviewed in a simple spreadsheet before anything is published
- Optional translations for new markets
The problem
Catalogs drift. Products added in a hurry have one-line descriptions, metafields that power your filters are empty, and SEO titles follow five different patterns. Fixing it by hand is a job nobody ever gets to.
What we’d build
A pipeline that exports your products, writes improved descriptions, SEO titles and metafield values from your existing data and style guide, and puts every suggested change side by side with the original in a review sheet. Your team approves, edits or rejects each row. Approved changes are written back to Shopify in bulk, with a full log so anything can be rolled back.
How it stays safe
- Nothing is published without a person approving it.
- It never invents specs. Missing facts are flagged for your team, not made up.
- We run it on a small batch first so you can tune the voice.
Typical shape
A one- to three-week sprint, depending on catalog size. The pipeline stays with you for new products.
Typical stack: Shopify bulk operations · Metafields · Google Sheets · Claude
